10 Summer Manicures We Have to Try Before Fall
When the first days of warmth start to peek through after what felt like a long, cold winter, you can sense a palpable shift in the air.
Not only a literal change of temperature but also a change in everyone’s mood, style and spirit. After spending months bundled up in layers from head to toe, dressed in dark colors, and curled up near the closest source of heat, everyone is eager to disrobe and get outside! We can finally wear colors, and white again! We can finally wear shorts and sandals again! One of the first pit stops most women make when leaving the house after winter’s hibernation is to the nail salon. For fresh fingernails and toenails that are going to be out all summer long.
This year I’ve seen so many fresh and fun nail colors and designs that I can’t keep up with trying them. There are only so many weeks in the summer and not enough time to wear them all. Here are a few of my favorite manicures (which could also serve as pedicures) that I plan to try at some point this summer, and maybe even sneak into fall and winter. Tie Dye

Who of us hasn’t gone through a bohemian, hippy dippy phase? Tie dye nails are a great way to bring back that free-spirited vibe and maybe get inspired to try somethings we wouldn’t normally! And there are so many colors combinations you can choose, that this look will never get old.
Pastel Rainbow

Keeping it in the pastel family, we have this stunning pastel rainbow with a duochrome overlay. It’s a serene take on the vivid brights of the standard rainbow, but just as enchanting.
Jelly Nails

Before 2019, I had honestly never seen a set of nails like these. Now I’m seeing them everywhere! Jelly Nails, are reminiscent to jello or candy in appearance, and often bright in color. Some choose to cover them in stamps, where them solid, or add a cool design like this tribal one. Fire!

If you’re anything like me, in summer, fruits are your best friend. So a manicure inspired by the colors of all oranges, lemons, and grapefruits will serve to be a great reminder to meet your daily intake of Vitamin C.

These nails scream “party” and “celebration!” To some, they may seem juvenile, but I personally am always tapping into my inner ten-year old through glitter and holographic elements, so this nail is definitely screaming my name. Justine Skye always has some of the most unique nail designs, and I’m always looking forward to seeing what she will do next. I love this set in particular, because each nail gives you a few shades from colors in the same family. The overall look isn’t as bright or gaudy as the others, but still just as genius!
